The Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem announces a selection procedure for the position of Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Management.

1 position – Associate Professor in the field of Economics and Management
Job description / Responsibilities:
- Teaching, research, and publishing activities in the field of Management and Business Economics
- Continuous professional development
- Implementation of projects and other activities supporting the development of the department
Qualification requirements:
- Academic staff member holding the academic title of Associate Professor (docent) in the relevant field
- Creative thinking and ability to work systematically and as part of a team; strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills
- Excellent language skills, with priority given to English
- Potential for further professional development
Workload: 50%
Expected start date: As agreed

Information about the selection procedure and evaluation criteria:
The selection procedure will take place in two rounds: the first round will involve an assessment of the submitted materials, which must be included in the application; the second round may involve a personal interview with shortlisted candidates. All applicants will be informed of the result no later than 30 days after the conclusion of the procedure.

- A brief professional CV
- Proof of academic and scientific-pedagogical titles
- Overview of scientific and teaching activities, professional experience, and memberships in professional associations – including a list of publications and grant activities
