The Dean of the Faculty of Education of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem announces an external selection procedure to fill the position of Lecturer at the Language Centre.

Job Description / Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to teach and coordinate courses focused on Spanish language instruction at both lower and higher levels (A1–B2 according to the CEFR), with a workload of 6 teaching hours per week plus 1 consultation hour per week (may be scheduled on the same day), and possible participation in project activities of the department.
Qualification Requirements:
- University degree in Spanish Language or Spanish Language with a focus on Education (or ongoing studies in the field), or
- Documented experience in teaching Spanish, or
- Language certificate at C1 level (e.g. DELE or other equivalent certificate).

Information on the Selection Procedure and Selection Criteria:
The selection procedure will take place in person. Applicants will briefly present their previous professional experience and outline their vision in the event of employment at the department. The selection will be based on the requirements of the Language Centre and the applicant’s presentation.
The application deadline is 20 August 2026. The selection process will be conducted on an ongoing basis and may be concluded once a suitable candidate has been selected. We reserve the right to close the application process earlier or extend the deadline. In the first round, the committee will assess submitted materials, and selected candidates will be invited for an in-person interview.
