Marketing Officer
The Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem announces a selection procedure for the position of Marketing Officer.

Requirements:
- Minimum secondary education with a school-leaving exam
- English at least at level B2
- Excellent writing and speaking skills without spelling or stylistic errors
- Strong proficiency in Czech and English for preparing press releases, articles, media responses, and other texts
- Professional and representative demeanor
- Experience in online and offline marketing, especially in digital campaigns and social media communication
- Knowledge of marketing and analytical tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Business Suite, Canva, WordPress)
- Basic graphic design skills and experience with photo and video editing
- Ability to prepare and manage content for the faculty website and social media profiles (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram).
Personal qualities:
- Independent and responsible approach, with a sense for visual and aesthetic design
- Ability to work in a team and bring creative ideas for promoting the faculty
- Flexibility and effective time management skills
- Category B driving license.
Main responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing the faculty’s communication strategy for both external and internal communication, with clearly defined target groups and effective communication methods
- Managing marketing campaigns to support student recruitment and promote research projects
- Creating and distributing promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, and merchandise
- Updating the faculty website with news and current information
- Managing and developing the faculty’s social media profiles, monitoring feedback
- Planning, organizing, and promoting faculty events (Open Days, Researchers’ Night, Gaudeamus, excursions, seminars, workshops)
- Monitoring the effectiveness of PR and marketing activities, analyzing campaign results, and providing recommendations for future strategies.

Information about the selection procedure and criteria:
The selection procedure will take place in person. Applicants will briefly present their professional background and outline their vision for working at the faculty. The Faculty reserves the right to cancel the selection procedure, even without stating a reason.

- Professional CV
- Copy (or scan) of the highest completed education certificate
- A one-page (max. A4) proposal with ideas/suggestions for improving the faculty’s PR using currently available channels
- Declaration of clean criminal record
