The Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem announces a selection procedure for the position of academic staff member.

Requirements:
- Master’s degree (Ing.) in technical sciences with a focus on energy engineering.
- Knowledge of simulation software such as ANSYS, STAR-CCM+, MATLAB, and Amesim.
- Proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of Czech at level C1 (required for collaboration on the implementation of R&D results into Czech-language teaching).
Job Description:
- Participates in the preparation and implementation of research tasks in the field of P2X energy systems and hydrogen technologies under the supervision of a senior researcher.
- Performs numerical simulations of fluid flow, heat, and mass transfer in systems related to the production, storage, and utilization of hydrogen (e.g., electrolyzers, storage tanks, heat exchangers, combustion equipment, reactors).
- Uses and develops CFD models in software tools such as STAR-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent, and Amesim to analyze and optimize processes.
- Collaborates on experimental verification and validation of computational models, analyzes results, and prepares technical reports and presentations.
- Prepares technical documentation, tender specifications, and other supporting materials related to the implementation of project research activities.
- Contributes to the processing of research results and their integration into bachelor’s and master’s degree programs.
- Actively participates in professional training and seminars in the fields of hydrogen technologies, CFD, and energy systems.
- Delivers professional lectures and seminars at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem.
- Supports research and development activities in decarbonization and the integration of renewable energy sources, collaborates on publications, and participates in conferences.
Workload: 20–100% (within the GET Centre UJEP project)
