Head of the External Relations Department (applications by 15 March 2026)
The Vice-Rector for Internationalisation of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem announces a selection procedure for filling the position of Head of the External Relations Department.

Job Description/Duties:
- Organises and manages the External Relations Department and provides methodological guidance to Erasmus+ coordinators at the constituent parts of UJEP
- Is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the Erasmus+ programme and its sub-programmes (preparation and submission of applications, interim and final reports, documentation management, preparation of materials for audit controls)
- Provides methodological support for other programmes of international cooperation in education
- Is responsible for the registration of international agreements
- Acts as the contact person for the Czech National Agency for International Education and Research (Dům zahraniční spolupráce) and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic
- Coordinates cooperation with the Erasmus Student Network Ústí nad Labem
- Organises and is responsible for the implementation of government scholarship programmes; maintains records of employees and, in cooperation with the Study Department of UJEP, records of students
- In cooperation with the UJEP IT Centre, manages ECTS modules in the IS/STAG information study portal
- Coordinates project publicity, marketing activities, and the presentation of study opportunities at UJEP abroad (in cooperation with the Department of Marketing and Cooperation)
- Coordinates and is responsible for the financial management of international cooperation projects within the External Relations Department
Qualification Requirements:
- University education at least at Bachelor’s level (Bc.); education in economics or management is an advantage
- Independence, reliability, strong communication skills and creativity, clean criminal record
- Language skills: English at a minimum level of B2; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
- Experience working in (or cooperating with) a higher education institution is an advantage
- Experience in project management and leading project teams is an advantage
Working Time:
100% of statutory working hours

Fixed-term employment contract for 1 year with the possibility of extension to an indefinite period. Salary classification according to the internal salary regulation N9–N10. Career development is governed by the UJEP Career Regulations and applicable faculty regulations.

Information on the Selection Procedure and Selection Criteria:
The selection procedure will take place in the first round through the assessment of submitted materials, which must be part of the application, and possibly in the second round through a personal interview with selected candidates.
