Job Description
In accordance with the UJEP Employee Work Regulations (Rector’s Directive No. 2/2019).
Responsibilities include:
- supervising Bachelor’s and Master’s theses,
- conducting research and publishing scholarly work,
- participating in project activities,
- willingness and ability to assume responsibility for the academic programme Critical Humanities Studies as its guarantor.
Qualification Requirements
- completed habilitation procedure (or near completion) and demonstrated research potential,
- creative thinking and ability to work systematically both independently and as part of a team,
- strong communication skills,
- ability to teach and publish in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage,
- reliability, accuracy, and flexibility,
- clean criminal record and full legal integrity.
Employment Conditions
- Full-time position (100%)
- Prospect of a permanent employment contract
- Expected starting date: September 2026

Information on the Selection Procedure
The first round of the selection procedure will consist of an assessment of the submitted application materials (deadline: 21 June 2026). Applicants who successfully pass the first round may be invited to a personal interview in the second round.
The anticipated interview period is June–July 2026.
All applicants will be informed of the outcome no later than 10 working days after the completion of the selection procedure. Participants are not entitled to reimbursement of any costs incurred in connection with the selection procedure.
The Dean reserves the right to cancel the selection procedure at any time.
