Academic Staff Member of the Department of Philosophy and Humanities, Faculty of Arts
Number of vacancies/Position/Field:
1 position – Assistant Professor in the field of Didactics of Civic and Social Sciences
Job description / Duties:
In accordance with the Work Regulations of UJEP employees – Rector’s Order No. 2/2019
Qualification requirements:
- Required education in the relevant field at the Ph.D. level, or Mgr. (in study or before dissertation defense), with potential for further career development in higher education, science, and research
- Creative thinking
- Ability to work systematically and as part of a team
- Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills
- Language skills (possible teaching in English)
- Accuracy, flexibility, and moral integrity
Employment extent: 50% – 100% of full-time working hours (agreement-based employment possible)
Expected start date: February 2026

Information about the selection procedure and selection criteria:
The selection procedure will take place in two rounds. The first round will consist of an assessment of submitted materials (see below), and the second round, if applicable, will include personal interviews with shortlisted candidates.
All applicants will be informed of the results within 30 days after the completion of the selection procedure.
