Project Office Staff Member – UJEP PROFI (Project Office for International Collaboration)
Number of vacancies/Position/Field of activity:
1 position – Project Office Staff Member, UJEP PROFI (Project Office for International Collaboration)
Job Description:
- Managing and coordinating the activities of the UJEP PROFI project office during its pilot operation.
- Setting up processes and methodologies for the preparation and administration of international research projects (Horizon Europe, COST, MSCA, ERC, etc.).
- Cooperation with UJEP management in strategic planning and the development of international collaboration.
- Monitoring European and national grant calls and communicating with research teams.
- Methodological and administrative support for researchers in preparing project proposals and budgets.
- Ensuring that projects comply with UJEP internal regulations and funding providers’ rules.
- Organizing and implementing educational and informational events (including workshops and seminars on international project activities).
- Cooperation with other UJEP units (Project Service Centre, Research and Development Department, Legal Department, faculty project teams).
- Participation in the evaluation and conceptual review of the project office’s activities during the final phase of the project.
Requirements:
- Completed university education (Master’s degree or equivalent).
- Proven experience in project and financial management, especially in the area of international grant schemes (EU).
- Knowledge of EU structural funds and programmes (Horizon Europe, MSCA, COST, ERC, etc.).
- Familiarity with administrative, legal, and financial aspects of project management.
- Ability to think strategically and independently set up processes.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a team.
- Active command of English (written and spoken).
Advantages:

Duration: Fixed-term until 31 December 2028 (end of the project), with the expectation of continuation after the project ends

Salary: 60,000 CZK
