The Dean of the Faculty of Education at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem announces an external selection procedure for the position of an academic staff member at the Department of Art Education, Faculty of Education, UJEP.

1 position for a Lecturer / Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor
Job Description / Responsibilities:
The successful candidate is expected to teach and guarantee courses focused on art history (ancient, medieval, and modern periods), organize art history excursions, supervise bachelor’s and master’s theses, and develop pedagogical and creative (publishing and artistic) activities, as well as potentially contribute to the development of international activities and projects.
Qualification Requirements:
A university degree in a relevant field with a focus on art history and theory. Ongoing or completed doctoral studies (Ph.D.), or initiation/completion of habilitation or professorial appointment proceedings in the field of Theory and History of Art or a related discipline.
Workload:
30% of full-time working hours
