The Vice-Rector for Development and Digitalization of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem announces a selection procedure for the position of Head of the Computer Networks Department.

Job description / Responsibilities:
Manages the activities of the OPS department. This department is responsible for:
- Administration and development of the university-wide computer network
- Management of data centers
- Administration of servers and data storage systems for information systems operation
- Management of wireless networks
- Administration of optical and metallic infrastructure
- Connection of the university network to the CESNET network
- Ensuring functionality of core network services (DHCP, DNS, email, etc.)
Additionally:
- Cooperates with other IT departments and university units
- Proposes development and modernization of network infrastructure
Qualification requirements:
- Secondary education (high school diploma)
- Independence, reliability, and clean criminal record
- Experience in IT – development and administration of computer networks
Workload: Full-time (1.0 FTE)
Salary classification: According to internal salary regulation N11

Selection process information:
